So, the other day I was at the store with my mom. When she was going through her coupons in the dairy area, I snuck off to the magazine section. I scanned the aisle looking for Vogue, but came to the sad realization that it was not on their shelves. I saw Harper's Bazaar, and decided I would settle for that. Although I was hoping for Vogue, I was excited to see Tina Fey on the front cover of Bazaar. I walked back to my mom and begged for the magazine. After much pleading and a long discussion about how I'm already in debt and cannot even afford a magazine, she finally caved.
I spent a long time going through the small 246 page magazine and looking closely at the fashion articles. Here is what I found. (ha I sound so professional!)
Obviously we will be talking about Tina fey and the amazing clothes they put her in, so let's start there. On the newsstand cover she was wearing a red crepe de chine dress by Fendi, $1,890, beautiful Bulgari earrings, $2,620, and a $300, Kenneth Jay Lane bracelet. On the subscriber cover she looked just as gorgeous. She had on a white cotton-twill bustier dress by Yves Saint Laurent, $1,995, yellow diamond earrings, Leviev, and metallic silver pumps by Giuseppe Zanotti Design. (If there was not a price next the the item it is because price is given upon request when you call.) I personally love what she is wearing in the subscriber cover better. She looks classic and outstanding!
In the article all about her, Tina Rocks, she continues to look flawless and beautiful.
I love that she is wearing outfits that are classic and that her make-up is natural. It seems so... Tina! If they would have caked on the make-up and put her in high fashion clothing I would have been disappointed. They did a great job. She was photographed by Alexi Lubmirski.
Above: blue, satin dress, $1,725, and belt, $470, by Versace. Vhernier ring, $7,500. Paloma Picasso for Tifany & Co. bracelet, $4,500, and Maholo Blahnik silver high heels for $695.
Below: Michael Kors belt, $1,295, and dress, $1,495. Alexis Brittar earrings, $175. Cuff, Frank Gehry for Tiffany & Co., $14,500. Manolo Blahnik shoes, $865.
Well you guys... I'm exhausted and have to go make lunch, so I'm going to finish up this blog in a part two, probably tomorrow!
Much love,
Cadence
