There's something about...

...clothes, fashion in general. When I flip through a magazine a beautiful photo can give me chills, and a brilliant outfit can inspire me. I guess this is the reason I blog about fashion and photography. I want everyone to feel this way about the phenomenon that is fashion.
Recently a photo on lookbook inspired me to learn to sew my own skirts:

When I saw this photo I imediately wanted this outfit. When I went to get the information, she said she made the skirt herself..... Guess what now I wanna sew my own skirts! I think it would be a ton of fun. She also made this necklace, (she's a very talented young lady) & I'm in love with it as well. I used to make jewelry, and this pushed me to start again.

When I was looking for the picture above again, so I could out it on my blog I found this:

Freaking gorgeous picture. It stopped me in my tracks. I want this outfit, and I want to take a picture like this. This picture is one that sends chills down by spine and inspires me. If you don't have something that inspires you daily, I'm sorry. My life is never boring because I'm constantly seeing the world around me and wanting to improve my skills, and try new things.

I'm sorry for the super random blog today, but hopefully your inspired... I really love that word right now. I will leave you with this brilliant quote, from someone I wouldn't have expected it out of.

I'm In Love.... with a shirt!

Today I didn't know what to wear, so I snuck over to my moms closet. Let me tell you a little something about my mom. She doesn't wear mom jeans, she isn't stuck in the 80's, and most people guess she is 25. So, obviously she is super cute, and has an awesome fashion sense. So I saw this shirt she owns that she is in love with. I always was like oh yeah thats cute, but never really payed much attention to it, but I put it on anyway and fell in love with it. I don't want to take it off! First of all it is super comfy! It is one of thee softest shirts I have ever worn! Second, it is pretty fly!

Here's a picture:

This one is a little different from the one we have. (haha we, it's partially mine now!) Where the dark blue is, ours is green, the mid-line is yellow. The top lines on top are purple, and the bottom lines are navy. I know that's a lot to picture.

So, it doesn't look like much, but on... it's so cute! I wore a cardigan over it. Oh it was brilliant :)

So where can you buy this fabulous shirt? OLD NAVY!!!!! Crazy huh?

Prophetic Art

Today my friends and I had a picnic in the park and did prophetic art. It was so much fun! We wrote our names on a piece of paper and could draw something if we wanted. Then everybody went around and wrote encouraging words and prophecies on eachothers pages. IT WAS AMAZING! Here are some photos from today :) Enjoy!

I want to do it again when I get back! It's an amazing way to encourage eachother, and get closer to God/practice prophecy! I would recommend it to anybody and everybody! That's all for today...

Summer Holds Such Great Joys...

Today when I got home from my day at BSW (the arts school I wrote about earlier) my brother asked me if I knew what day it was. I responded with "Monday?" He just laughed and told me that today was the day we were doing a photo shoot together. You have to understand something about my brother. He is the most adorable little boy you will EVER meet, but he HATES doing photo shoots. Yesterday, after looking at lookbook for hours, he asked me if we could do a photo shoot. I was shocked but said no because we were leaving soon. I felt really bad, but I told him we would do one tomorrow (now today). I thought he would change his mind or forget about it... but he didn't. I think it's because he saw someone on lookbook who had an outfit almost identical to one he has, and it made him feel fashionable. Anyway, little bunny trails, today we did a photo shoot. My sister wanted to get in on the action to, of course, so we had a mini photo shoot and I sent off the pictures to lookbook to try and get the oh-so-sacred membership. Once I get the news I will let you guys know. Here are the pictures...

What do you guys think? Jo said that Emma's photos look like a Marc Jacobs ad and I replied with a "Imma be ballin".
